![]() Topaz dropped Masking and a few other apps. I would not be surprised if the 3 apps will no longer be for sale and once the year of support for the ones people own is over that will be it. So by October 1 (not counting April) that his 28 updates. There has been an update every week and by what hinted at is this will continue. Once Photo AI is as robust then they will be dumping the 3 standalone apps and there will be only Photo AI. Topaz said on its site and to a support question response to me. Those are far an few in between but it is a mature product. You have total control.Īs others said and I may have as well. In the settings you can tell at what point you want Autopilot to initiate sharpening but you have full control to turn it off if you don't want it. With Photo AI you can remove noise or sharpen independently. Thank you for any help if that all makes sense I am unsure if I should just get the Topaz Sharpen standalone, the Photo AI if I can use one or the other, or both at the same time or punt the ball and try PureRaw3 My workflow is LR to Denoise and that's about it.įor Photo AI, is it possible to use, say, DeNoise and not Sharpen? I am interested in a sharpening app but I do not want to have to sharpen each photo that I also denoise. I am on the older side of things and coming back to learn all the advancements in this field. Pardon the maybe simple question but you seem very advanced with post processing. With Photo AI, you get one year of complimentary updates another year of product updates will cost 100. Doing the math, that’s 200 instead of 260. For comparison, DeNoise AI and Sharpen run 80 each, and Gigapixel AI is 100. Eliminate noise while recovering real detail to get the best possible image quality in your high-ISO and low light photos. In Sharpen they offer Standard, Lens Blur or Motion Blur, then Strength and Clarity. Speaking of price, Topaz Photo AI currently runs 199.99. DeNoise AI Read reviews Using the power of AI to denoise images. ![]() They offer you Normal or Strong, then Strength and Detail in NR. You can turn NR and sharpening on and off independently in A1 Photo but I agree that the original controls would be better. Odd they would design it like this! I believe I will try the PureRAW3 trial and keep my trusty DeNoise. Ok thank you for confirming what I was gathering. They really need to have an "advanced" mode in the Photo AI so that we can control the denoising, sharpening and upscaling properly. I'm using the DeNoise separately but it does add some selective sharpening. I have no idea what is the Topaz mental process for making it so basic. Photo AI is very limited in controls compared to the older indepednt programs.
